Beyond Strategy approached us following an initial family and friends funding round, seeking support as they established their Strategy Software Service and began growing their early adopters.

Initially, access to the tool was limited to their consulting clients, but they were eager to expand into the broader market.  Our engagement began with a focus on defining their strategic narrative, their positioning and key messaging, ultimately forming the backbone of their go-to-market strategy.

1: Strategic Narrative and Positioning

Our first step was to help Beyond Strategy craft a compelling strategic narrative, focusing on positioning their software and elevator pitch for maximum market impact.

As they aimed to onboard 100 clients ahead of their first capital raise, we also worked with them to fine-tune their messaging, ensuring it resonated deeply with prospects and reflected their core value proposition.

2: Developing the Customer Success Discovery Journey

Next, we identified the need for a Customer Success Discovery Journey, a critical element that would streamline communications and prospect engagement.   This involved strengthening their post-demo communications to remove barriers to conversion. 

Whilst budgets were tight - we began simply by aligning calls-to-action with trial time and adjusting the messaging, tone of voice and role of key contacts to create  a more cohesive brand experience that was relevant to prospects, and more effective at moving them toward conversion. 

3: Organic Growth and LinkedIn Strategy

As Beyond Strategy neared the end of their financial runway, they sought our advice for a LinkedIn push campaign. Our response was clear: instead of investing in paid LinkedIn ads, which would need substantial investment and yield little return at this stage, we encouraged them to focus on organic growth initiatives that cross-pollinated and activated their already valuable network. 

By leveraging existing content, amplifying it across key channels, and optimising their website’s functionality and structure to optimise impact, they were able to maintain momentum without straining their budget, and raised much needed visibility.

Impact : Unlocking Big Thinking and Tactical Wins

The results were immediate. By enabling them to think outside the box, Beyond Strategy was able to unlock new growth opportunities without the need for costly paid campaigns. We encouraged the development of a quick-win MVP landing page, focused on capturing demand and driving people to demo their product.  We also provided a handy website template from our archives to streamline their messaging and improve conversion as an interim.
